Women In Engineering

23rd June celebrates National Women in Engineering Day. This day is dedicated to raising the profile and recognising the tremendous achievements of women within or a part of engineering. To celebrate this occasion, we have collected together a number of articles for, about or written by women in STEM, particularly engineering. These have been collected from across a range of subject areas including, but not limited to: Education, Behaviour Science, Science & Technology, Gender Studies, Mathematics & Statistics, Physics, Materials Science and Cultural Studies.

All the articles below are being offered to you with free access, and will remain so until the end of 2015. Simply click the article titles to begin reading.

PLUS we asked the Editor-in-Chief of Advances in Building Energy Research (ABER), Professor Dionysia Kolokotsa, to draw on her personal experience of the field and provide her top tips for women pursuing academic and professional careers in Engineering. Click here to find out what Dionysia Kolokotsa has to say.
