Forensic Mental Health
What is forensic mental health, and why is it important that it isn't overlooked?
Broad definitions consider the field of forensic mental health to be the study of those who are mentally disordered, and, as such, have broken the law or offended in a similar manner. Through this research and assessment of individuals, treatment methods can be proposed, tested, and put to real world use. We can also learn a lot about ourselves and our own motivations as human beings through understanding these behaviors.
