Editor’s Choice Articles 2018 Environmental Practice

Environmental Practice

Environmental Practice is the official journal of the National Association of Environmental Professionals. Since beginning as The Environmental Professional in 1979, the journal has provided a vital forum to share knowledge of environmental regulations, public policy, environmental quality, political economy, and management. Given the interdisciplinary nature of environmental science, the journal covers a wide range of topics that collectively address environmental issues and offer insights, guidance, and recommendations. The Editor-in-Chief has chosen the following articles that offer insights into factors affecting environmental career choice, provide recommendations for the quantitative inclusion of sustainability variables in NEPA, address the economic, social and environmental costs of paved roads and parking lots, and even consider the future of environmental impact assessment in outer space.
