60th Anniversary Special Issue Architectural Science Review

Architectural Science Review

2017 marks the 60th Anniversary of Architectural Science Review, and as a result, we have put together this Anniversary Special Issue, compiled of the most read and cited articles from the last 10 years. Richard Hyde, the Editor-in-Chief of the journal has written an anniversary themed editorial for the latest issue, which can be accessed free here.  In this editorial, Richard Hyde reflects on the development of the journal, particularly over the last ten years, and focuses on key themes within research that has been highlighted over this time. He notes in particular:

“It is a pleasure to reflect on the progress of the Journal over the last 60 years in particular how the ASR has adapted to the changes in the needs of the readership in recent years.’  The role of the Editorial Board and the Associate Editors is recognised in this change which has helped attract high profile research and research teams to select ASR as the journal to publish their work. Special Editions have shaped the themes in this and played a significant role in shaping the research profile of ASR and improved substantially the number of citations which has become an indicator of the success of the Journal in recent years.
