Welcome to this special conference edition of Pastoral Care in Education. We have marked the conference: 21st Century Pastoral Care by bringing together a selection of journal articles that would be of interest to practitioners, academics and students. Pastoral Care in Education is published four times per year. You will see from the articles selected that we are interested in publishing research-focused work covering a wide variety of topics. Pastoral Care in Education is directed at teachers, support staff, professionals, researchers and academics who are concerned with the personal and social development, education and care of pupils within schools.
