Special Issue 2018

European Security

Dear Colleagues,

European Security is seeking proposals for a special issue to be published in 2018. Special issues should be devoted to a theme within the aims and scope of the journal which can be found here.

Special issues should consist of eight to nine articles, including a substantial introduction, of up to a maximum of 9,000 words including references and notes, which conform to European Security submission criteria, and a conclusion.

Each proposal should include the following:

  • A brief outline of the thematic or conceptual focus of the issue and the rationale for the issue (2 page max)
  • Contact details, institutional affiliation and short bios of the special issue co-editors
  • List of agreed articles and authors for the issue
  • An initial indication of the timeframe for completion of the articles.

Submission Information

The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday 24 March 2017. Special issue co-editors will be notified of the decision by the end of April. Proposals should be sent by email to l.chappell@surrey.ac.uk and jocelyn.mawdsley@ncl.ac.uk.
