Health, Risk & Society is inviting submissions to the journal.
Health, Risk & Society is an international scholarly journal that focusses on the social processes which influence the ways in which risks and uncertainties regarding health are identified, communicated, assessed and/or managed. The journal aims to stimulate debate about the nature and role of risk and uncertainty in society through the publication of editorials, reviews and original articles in open, themed and special issues.
Health, Risk & Society aims to be accessible to social and health scientists from a variety of disciplines, practitioners and policy makers who have an interest in risk issues relating to health.
Articles published in the journal should show a critical awareness of contemporary risk theory, critically evaluate and review evidence and contribute to understandings of the relationship between health, risk and society. Articles which contribute to the social science of risk and uncertainty drawing on the analysis of health issues are also welcomed. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert reviewers.
