International Journal of Electronics is an international, peer reviewed journal, publishing high-quality, original research. Ian Hunter, Editor-in-Chief, invites you to submit your research to a forthcoming special issue of the journal.
The enormous increase in demand for mobile data and services shows no sign of slowing down and is driving the need for completely new standards. By 2020 “5G” standards will be in place and is expected to integrate much higher data rates of up to 1Git/second and the “Internet of Things” where ultimately everything will be connected. This rapid change creates many challenges for the Electronics Sector in both industry and academia. The way in which the RF front ends are configured is expected to change dramatically, with much more flexible use of physical space and the electromagnetic spectrum being required. In particular the use of millimetre waves, adaptive antennas, and tuneable front ends are all strong contenders.
For this reason we have decided to devote a special issue to the topic and invite submission of (full length only) papers on (but not exclusively) the following topics.
- Advances in Millimetre Wave Technology
- Adaptive Antennas
- Reconfigurable Filters
- Adaptive low Noise Amplifiers
- High Efficiency Linear Power Amplifiers
- New transceiver architectures
Submission Deadline: 31st October 2017.
Submit your paper via the journal's ScholarOne Manuscripts online submission site
