Journal of Research on Technology in Education

The Journal of Research on Technology in Education (JRTE) is expanding its pool of reviewers and editorial board. Reviewers serve a vital function in evaluating the research submitted to JRTE for quality, accuracy, and importance for the field. 

Reviewers serve an initial term of two years, with the possibility of being invited to remain for an additional three-year term and/or join the editorial review board. It is assumed that a JRTE reviewer will complete three to four manuscripts per year, with five weeks to complete each review. Qualifications include strong research expertise, published empirical studies, and a terminal degree in education or a related field.

  • What are your areas of expertise in research and technology education?
  • What types of articles do you feel particularly qualified to review? (qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, design-based research, survey research, others, any of the above?)
  • Are there other things that you might tell us that will help us send you the most appropriate articles to review? (specific content areas, grade level expertise, teacher preparation, experiences that might be useful, etc.)
