The Journal of Library Administration is currently seeking articles and proposals for “The Specialist” column.
Special libraries are underrepresented in the professional literature. “The Specialist” provides a forum for professionals in special libraries to share their experiences and insights with each other and with the wider library community, and for researchers and educators to share their views on special libraries.
The column’s scope includes corporate, non-profit, government, and independent libraries as well as the specialized departments and branches of academic and public libraries. Contributions from practitioners and scholars on any aspect of special libraries are welcome.
The Journal of Library Administration is the primary source of information on all aspects of the effective management of libraries. Stressing the practical, this forward-looking journal provides information that library administrators need to efficiently and effectively manage their organizations.
