Following its official launch in July 2014 during the General Meeting of the European Association of Social Psychology in Amsterdam, Comprehensive Results in Social Psychology (CRSP) is now ready to take first submissions.
CRSP is the first social psychology journal to publish only pre-registered papers. The journal publishes high quality research that provides significant scientific advance, while having a strong focus on methodology and transparency in the research process. Authors submit their research proposals to the journal and these are reviewed and accepted on the basis of the substantive contribution and proposed methodology. All papers will then be published so long as the studies are conducted and analyzed as agreed in the pre-registered proposal.
Please visit the CRSP website to familiarize yourself with the details of the submission process:
- CRSP’s Aims and Scope statement
- Description of proposal requirements: Submissions guidelines for Authors PDF
- Manuscript formatting, layout and general publication policy: Instructions for Authors
CRSP offers an "initial publication agreement" based on the reviewed submission of the introduction, hypotheses, methods, and proposed analyses. Full manuscripts (including results and discussion) are reviewed again to check for protocol adherence. Additional exploratory analyses and data are possible, but will be flagged as such; these will also be reviewed.
CRSP has an open (non-blind) review policy.
CRSP is seeking original research as well as replication/extension studies from all sub-disciplines of Social Psychology.
Articles accepted during 2015 will be published online and free to download throughout that year. Print publication will commence in 2016.
