Women and Aging seek four Associate Editors to join the existing Editorial Team.
Applicants for the Associate Editor position should have a keen interest in issues about women and aging from diverse disciplines. Associate Editors spend approximately 2-3 hours and oversee around 10-12 article submissions per year. Associate Editors are responsible for supporting the journal through a variety of tasks including screening submissions for their suitability, coordinating the peer review process and working with authors on revisions.
Associate Editors are required to have a doctoral degree and are appointed for three years. Also, applicants should have an established background of academic publication, strong organization skills and be willing to receive training in using an online submission management system (Editorial Manager).
